Legal reforms underlined as Nigeria readies for REDD+

Following the approval last October of Nigeria’s REDD+ Readiness Programme and the subsequent release of the sum of $4 million (about N650 million) by the UN-REDD Policy Board to aid the programme’s implementation, experts have initiated a dialogue to foster multi-stakeholder understanding of the topic.
